The Reader & Choke

The fact that Kate Winslet is playing such huge roles in award-nominated movies such as Revolutionary Road and The Reader should give me an impression that she's a good actress.

And that's exactly what I got. Not only can she act, she's gettin' 'em awards even with a lil erotica scenes here and there. Which my guess is it displays some truisms in the movie, that lil' bit extra to be above average. Either that or people don't take is as something explicit because what they're seein is not the temples they'd imagine to have their Bratwurstchen sliding in and out of. The latter sounds more spot on tbh.

But egal, fine actress and a well-made movie done in Germany! Oh what're the odds :)

Besides that, if you enjoyed Fight Club then Choke is a must-see. Also written by those who did Fight Club.
